I support Fred Thompson for president of the United States of America and my reasons are very simple:
1) He is the leading candidate actively seeking to truly eliminate illegal immigration and he has a detailed plan to do so.
2) That same plan to tackle illegal immigration provides solutions to the country's immigration system to welcome people willing to assimilate and contribute to the greater good.
3) He has outlined a specific plan to simplify the federal tax code that practically eliminates the government bureaucracy involved in taxation.
4) He is the best candidate to tackle Islamic fundamentalism/fascism and all threats to this nation's sovereignty both outside and inside the nation.
5) He intends to dismantle federal control over Americans' private lives and restore individuality, character and choice to the states, and to the people.
6) He stands as a statesman for a principled approach to governing that reinforces the U.S. Constitution and the Founders intention for this land, giving us all more power to succeed. This differs from the political approach of his opponents, which changes to accommodate individual hunger for power, money or a bland globalist socialism that keeps showing its ugly head.
7) He stands for individual life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness with the family unit at the root of civilization and the foundation for rearing and educating the future generation of American citizens.
8) He supports sustainable energy policies that do not bankrupt our economy and an incremental and market-driven approach to improving our impact on nature and our own population. This same market-based approach extends to his reasonable fixes for Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid and more general health care needs.
9) He will appoint strict constructionist judges who will rule based on the intent of the Constitution and its call on liberty for all, not on the political whims of a minority.
10) He supports the Bill of Rights, which includes the Second Amendment (the right to bear arms) for the specific purpose of giving the people a means to dissolve their government when it stops representing their will and respecting their rights, which are granted from God alone.
