University police, and many police officers in general, are daily violating our Constitutional rights. This must stop. Here's the disgraceful video of John Ziegler being arrested for exercising his First Amendment rights to assemble and to independently report on an event.

Ziegler should sue the university, and he should get a written apology from the university president. The officers should not only be fired, but they should also be arrested for assault. University of Southern California is a state university; it is public property. Ziegler was doing nothing wrong. Everyone who loves this country should be outraged by this, regardless of their political leanings. It is wrong to do this to ANY American. The university and these cops must be held accountable.

Here's a Fox News report on the incident:

This is not unlike when Andrew Meyer was tazed at the University of Florida for simply asking Sen. John Kerry a question about his membership in Skull & Bones at Yale University. He was slightly wry with his remarks, but he absolutely did not deserve the treatment he received.

Unfortunately, this type of thing is happening in the freest state of New Hampshire, too. This police and prosecutor abuse must stop now. If it doesn't we need to make sure whomever we elect does something about it.
